Boulder Creek at Midland Condominium Association Newsletter - November 2019

A special thank you to Robbyn for all her trick or treater pics, recipe and how she can help with your holiday baking. Ron & Ellen shared their anniversary date and Pat provided information about drapes. A crossword puzzle was added to test your knowledge about the community we live in. Send us a clue about yourself so you can be included in our next crossword puzzle. If you don't send a clue we will not include you. We all love to learn more about each other.

We are also having a "Name this Newsletter" contest. Send us your ideas and the winner gets their name in a future issue.

Happy Holidays Boulder Creek Friends! We wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU for letting our kiddos trick-or-treat in our wonderful neighborhood! They definitely enjoyed themselves and we appreciate everyone sharing in their enthusiasm for the holiday and providing them with tasty sweet treats! We also appreciate all of you accommodating our request to come around early in the evening. Every Halloween, we head over to a friend’s house for dinner and trick-or-treating in their neighborhood after we’ve been around here, and going out a little early makes it possible for us to get everything accomplished before bedtime ;)

Our neighbors Marilynn Boone and Sharon Brady have something in common: they are quilters. If anyone would like to learn the craft of quilting they are willing to teach you or have you assist them with making simple quilts for local charities. It is a great way to spend cold winter afternoons and enjoying coffee, tea or your other favorite beverage. Or bring your favorite craft to work on. Let Sharon/Marilynn know and they will schedule a gathering/lesson or two.

Silhouette blinds are available for great room, dining room & bonus room. These new blinds were measured for the above rooms & installed in our condo in June 2019. Shortly thereafter we decided to exchange them for room darkening Doulite blinds. They are adjustable slanted blinds to allow some shade. As stated above, the blinds are basically new. Pat Dunlap

Notes from your board:

A new electronic SQP system is being tested. An email will be sent to all members once a system is approved. This email will contain an invite for you to fill out an electronic SQP form. We encourage you to take advantage of this new system as it will make it easier for members to submit an SQP and also make the board more efficient in managing SQPs. Please submit an SQP with your comments on this new system once you get the email invite to submit a form. Mark the "Suggestion" box in the form if you wish to leave a comment and are not expecting a reply.

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season. Please submit ideas for future newsletters to Larry Stover.  You could be our next contributor. Volunteers are always welcome!
